Not really looking for deliverance, just had that old Mission UK song going through my head.
Ok going to rant a little bit today. Recently I have seen people posting more about the proposed Mosque going up near Ground Zero. Now believe me, I think it is a bad idea for the Mosque to go there. I do not however, believe that they DO NOT have the right to build there. This is America and we are Americans, we fight for these rights, we DO NOT deny them. But that is not what has me riled up. A few people yesterday decided to post that the inauguration of the new Mosque is going to be on 9/11/11. I really hate when people don't fact check before posting online. It takes less than 5 minutes in most cases. The fact is this, the proposed Mosque is not even scheduled to be completed until 2013. Ok rant #1 done.
Rant #2 -- I took my bride to the Hilton Resort and Golf Club this past weekend. Everything was perfect! Well almost. We had to suffer through two teenage girls on a shuttle from the resort to Baytowne. They were two of the most despicable people I have ever had the displeasure of being near. They were talking to the shuttle driver and when he said goodbye to a girl on the shuttle, they asked him if they were dating. He replied no, they were just friends and he knew her dad. They then asked him if they had met in college. A seemingly innocent question except for the fact that the two little bitches were laughing behind his back as if someone who drove a shuttle bus for a living could not have possibly ever gone to college. They then began to regal him with a story about how the one was recently divorced after a ten year marriage. Both girls were not a day over 16. It really was an extremely disgusting display. Then I thought about it, their parents really need to be choked until they shit for raising those girls so horribly. So if you know of two teenage girls that spent the weekend at the Sandestin Resort and one of them is actually pretty fucking ugly, go slap their mamas and tell them DVH sent you.
Did more work on Pakistani flood aid today. Looks as though that will be my good deed for at least the next few days. Below is a picture showing the devastation in Gilgit, Pakistan an area cut off from the rest of the country.
USAID is doing a lot with relief efforts over there. Visit their site to learn more about how you can help.
