Human Nature Can Be So Disgusting

On Sunday I read an article about a young woman that had been attacked by a crowd who threw stones and bottles at her and even fireworks.  She was injured as you can imagine, facial cuts, bruises, obviously mental scaring, but she escaped alive.  Even more disgusting than the attack was the comment left online about how the skank deserved it and people actually laughing at the event..
I decided to repost the events on my Facebook page to see what the response there would be.  I left the name of the girl out though and unsurprisingly, the people who commented all were horrified by the event itself and by the response on other sites.

After about an hour, I revealed that the person that was attacked was actually reality start Tila Tequila. So here's a question, when you read the start of this blog, did you feel disgust?  Had you known the victim in this instance would your reaction have been the same?

If you are still disgusted by this event even after knowing the victim, head on over to dlisted and check out the comments by some of societies best and brightest.

For my good deed for the day, I did a few things. Work related I assisted with preparations for Pakistan flood relief. On the non-work related front, I emailed a random deployed service member and thanked them for their sacrifice.  Took me 30 seconds to do it.  I should have done more.

Caught the Comedy Central Roast of David Hasselhoff last night.  Now I get that Greg Geraldo and Lisa Lampenelli are funny and come up with some funny ass shit, but... One of the things that made the Dean Martin Roasts so hilarious is that, for starters, they chose actual stars to roast and secondly, the roasters were peers.  More than half the people up there have never even met the person they are roasting.  You want funnier roasts Comedy Central? Get all of Mel Gibson's friends to bash his ass on network TV.

Lindsay Lohan is rumored to be released as early as this weekend from rehab.  That was a fast 90 days!  I hope 90 days goes by that fast when I deploy this winter. To get a better perspective on her 90 days in hell, over 120 Us Service members died in Afghanistan protecting her right to be an asshat.

A fan sent me this and I have to say, Daaaaaaaammmmmmmnnnn!
