Where's the customer service?

Before I get to my rant of the day I have to say what a great day this was.  I drove 2 hours to Panama City to pick up my oldest son Brandon who is moving is with us until he starts college next year in Fort Lauderdale.  Then we went shopping with the wife and his little sister India.  What a great day.

Ok rant time.  So my youngest son plays football and they have a concession stand at the field.  It is run by an old woman who looks as though she drinks a bottle of Gin a day.  She's one of those bitches that no matter how loud you say hello, she will not respond to you.  Try saying thank you and see if she even blinks.  Yesterday there was a teenage kid working the stand with her.  I'm going to assume that they are related because his people skills matched hers.  He began our transaction with a delightful "Whadda ya need?" I told him I wanted a bag of sunflower seeds and an order of nachos.  Nachos are $1.75 and Sunflower seeds are .75 (this will be important later on.).  He took my order and told his counterpart to ring me up.  He then threw the bag of seeds at me while his mustache sporting grandmother prepared the cheese for my nachos.  When I gave him a look for throwing the seeds, he asked me if the order was wrong.  I said, "No it's right, I just wasn't expecting them to be thrown at me." He didn't seem to understand that this is not a normal way to conduct a transaction.  He then had to go assist his friend with adding up my total.  After nearly two minutes of watching them attempt calculus, I finally shouted out, "It's $2.50!"  They gave me my order and I thanked them.  Tomorrow maybe I'll receive a "You're welcome".

My good deed for the day which I think is day 14 was to give a large collection of chapter books I had been planning to sell to a teacher in Arkansas who is taking over a classroom that has absolutely nothing.  If you are interested and want to help the class out, let me know and I will provide you a mailing address.
